About OSHOlinks

OSHOlinks is a kind of directory whereby we can easily find each other - and find out what people are doing - via their websites.

There are so many sannyasin websites but Punya and I realised that until now there has been no attempt to classify or categorise them to make them more easily accessible and more efficient communication and/or marketing tools.

Many websites have lists and links to other websites but most of them are not even in alphabetical order, let alone easily accessible in any efficient way.

We have embarked on a project to try and remedy the situation. It all started when I wanted to find a certain sannyasin friend. No doubt he had a website and lived in the USA. But how to find him? I had to send off emails to various friends until at last one person could give me an answer.

So I consulted with Punya and she found a means to create a website which could contain information uploaded by guests and deliver it through a search engine by various categories and countries so that we can locate friends and their businesses. (This part of the project is still in process as we are waiting for our programmer to deliver the goods!)

Hopefully this will become a very valuable communications and marketing tool. Its benefits could be huge. If 1000 people fill in the categories such as their website address, their name, their country, their business, much could happen!

To ensure privacy, we will not make people’s personal emails available because we assume contact details will be on their websites.

We are not going to ask for payment for the database entries, but we are offering an option for you to advertise your business via an advert down the side of the screen where they will appear in random sequence. Find out more on our advertising page about prices and how to send the logo.
